Master of Ceremonies

A Master of Ceremonies for your wedding reception is important for many reasons. They are experienced, fun, entertaining, reliable, and will make your event one to be remembered, for all the right reasons.

Family, friend or professional MC?

Having a professional MC at your wedding reception takes the pressure off a friend or family member having the responsibility of doing this task. It allows them to be able to sit back and enjoy themselves rather than having to be on duty for the duration of your reception.

Your Reception

As your MC I will be the overall host and co-ordinator for your wedding reception, making sure all elements are tied together.

Having a Professional MC.

The MC is the person who acts as your representative to ensure that what you want from your event happens and the one who deals with any hiccups that may occur along the way.

Celebrant & MC.

If I have conducted your wedding ceremony and you select me as your reception MC, then it will be an easy and smooth transition between the two events.
From start to finish I will make sure each event reflects what you want from your special day.

As your MC.

As your MC I will make sure your special day runs smoothly from start to finish, being the point of contact that leaves you, your family, and the guests to enjoy the wedding reception experience.

As your MC I will work with you to build a reception that is all about you. It will reflect the fun, excitement and feel you are wanting from your special event.

What to expect from me as your MC

 Before the wedding day

I will help you put together a reception program using activities and games with traditional and new ideas. Then we will use this program to create a run sheet of the event activities and timings showing all details require for each vendor involved. I am also available to assist those giving speeches.

At your wedding reception

During the night I will liaise with your reception service providers (DJ, band, photographers, venue manager, etc) to make sure they are aware of the timings and activities on the run sheet. Helping to make sure your schedule runs on time.

I will assist the venue manager so the food and drink service runs smoothly.

Following the run sheet, I will announce the wedding party’s arrival, and introduce the speeches, activities, and any traditional elements like cutting the cake, throwing the bouquet, etc.

I will be the “go-to” person to help you and your guests and be the buffer between you and any inconveniences and distractions that may arise. Most importantly I will make sure you as the married couple are looked after at all times.

Run Sheet

I will work with you to prepare a run sheet that will make sure the evening is all you want. Just as with your wedding ceremony, this should be designed for you as a couple.


Relax, have fun and party the night away with family and friends knowing your wedding reception is in safe and experienced hands.

If you only require me for your wedding reception then this is the package you need. Sevice until 9 pm.
